We work with retailers, brands, manufacturers, distributors and product-data providers who want their product information to be accurate, complete and easy for consumers to understand.
If you can provide official product data, Scanor can use it as a trusted source and keep your product information up to date across the platform.
Scanor is expanding beyond food products, with cosmetics as the next major product category. We welcome official data from partners across both food and cosmetics.
What data can you provide?
We can work with structured product feeds, APIs, exports or other agreed formats.
Typical product data may include:
- EAN / barcode
- Product name and brand
- Package size / quantity
- Ingredients
- Allergens
- Nutrition information
- Country of origin
- Manufacturer or supplier information
- Product claims and certifications
- Official product images
- Other factual product information relevant to consumers
For cosmetics, product information may also include relevant ingredient lists, usage information, product category, claims and other factual packaging information.
We can start with a small pilot and scale to a full catalogue.

Official product data helps reduce missing, outdated or incorrect information and gives consumers a clearer view of your products.

How integration works
You provide Scanor with access to an agreed product-data source.
We map the data into the Scanor product model, validate the integration and agree how updates should be handled.
Depending on the partner and technical setup, updates can be processed through:
- API integration
- Scheduled product feed
- Structured file export
- Another agreed integration method
Promote selected products
Partners can also give selected products greater exposure within Scanor.
Promoted products may be shown first in selected areas of the app, such as browsing sections, curated collections, offers or campaigns.
Product promotion never affects the Scanor Score.
Promotion fees, advertising campaigns and commercial relationships do not influence a product's Scanor Score.
All advertising and promoted content in Scanor is clearly labelled as sponsored.
Product corrections and review
If you are a manufacturer, brand or retailer and believe that displayed product information is incomplete or inaccurate, you can contact us to request a review.
We can assess corrections, updated product information or changes to the official data source used for your products.
Start with a pilot
You do not need to integrate your entire catalogue from day one.
We can start with a limited set of products to validate:
- Data quality
- Field mapping
- Update frequency
- Product matching
- Operational workflow
Once the integration is validated, it can be expanded to a larger catalogue.
